General information: outings and clubs

Visits to museums and expeditions to other places of interest are arranged regularly each term. Children also visit the theatre from time to time. Occasional visits to the school for educational purposes are made by local services such as the fire brigade and police. There are also a variety of optional after-school activity clubs: by way of example these have regularly included various sports, chess, website design, art, cookery, junk jewellery and computing. Clubs usually take place immediately after the end of the school day and last for approximately an hour.
